ZAO is a mission arm of MorningStar Fellowship, created to directly confront the international water-borne disease crisis which prematurely removes over 3 million people from our planet every year.  zao is a humanitarian organization working to transform communities by providing safe drinking water, hygiene education and hope for people in developing nations.  Matt Peterson, our pastor, is the director of zao and invites our church members to participate in zao’s mission.  Members of our church have helped sponsor wells, helped fund a zao church building in Africa, and served on zao well drilling and hygiene training teams in Africa.

To date zao has developed 34 springs, 25 wells, and 1 rainwater catchment tank in East Africa, providing over 40,000 people with clean drinking water every day.  To find out how you can be involved visit http://www.zaowater.com
